After working in the publishing industry, he was involved in the editing, publishing, and overseas copyright negotiations of books and magazines.In 1994, he launched the Japanese version of ``WIRED'' and served as its business manager. After that, he became independent and founded the online media company Mediagene Co., Ltd. (formerly Infobahn Group Headquarters) in 1998, and in 2015 established the digital agency Infobahn Co., Ltd. through an incorporation-type split. From 2022, he will serve as the secretary of Keizai Doyukai. Co-founded TNL Mediagene in 2023 and became COO and president. In 2024, he became an outside director of NOK Corporation.

After working as a certified public accountant in accounting and auditing at an auditing firm, he became a director in charge of finance at a business company in 2015. After going through the IPO at the company, he joined Infobahn Group Headquarters (currently Mediagene ) in 2017, and became Director and CFO in 2018, in charge of the business management of the Group.
