Mediagene Co., Ltd., a group company of TNL Mediagene , has been selected as a partner operator of Tokyo's startup support development project "TOKYO SUTEAM", and will provide support for young entrepreneurs, mainly women. The program "MASHING UP Accelerator" ( https://www.mashingup.jp/feature/mashingup_accelerator/ ) has started in January 2025.
Programs that leverage the power of media
This program will begin with a study session for those selected in the first round to systematically learn the knowledge necessary to start a business. Participants of all genders can participate in the study sessions and learn practical skills ranging from the basics of starting a business to building a business model and raising funds.
In the second round, we will narrow down the selection to 15 seed and early-stage female entrepreneurs and provide support with an emphasis on scalability, with an emphasis on education aimed at expanding business scale within three years. We provide multifaceted support, including individual guidance from experienced mentors and pitch events.
Furthermore, the biggest feature of this program is its use of media. " MASHING UP ", which is operated by Mediagene and considers social issues from diverse perspectives and thinks about the future, and " BUSINESS INSIDER JAPAN " ( Business Insider Japan ), an economic media that strengthens startup support, collaborate to create a program. In addition to enriching the content, we will utilize the communication and network that only media can offer, such as publishing articles.
Reasons for focusing on supporting young entrepreneurs
Through this program, Mediagene aims to create a society where more young people can take on the challenge of starting a business and play an active role. We also contribute to the development of young entrepreneurs with a global perspective and an eye toward expansion in international markets. We also believe that women's diverse perspectives and ideas will become the driving force that creates new value for society.
